Wireshark/Wi-Fi Training for IT, Plant & CSRs
– Western Iowa Networks will be hosting a week’s worth of training for various departments within your organization. We will have a two-day Wireshark training geared towards your IT/CO staff, two-day WLAN Operations training for your IT/CO & OSP Staff, as well as a one-day CSR class on Wi-Fi/WLAN. Training will be held at our Operations Center located at 1780 Kittyhawk Ave, Carroll, IA. Classes are limited to 15 guests per session, so we encourage you to sign up soon.
– Hands On Explore Packet Analysis with Wireshark
– Monday & Tuesday January 31-February 1. 8:30 am – 5:00 pm each day
– Attendees should attend with laptop and Wireshark installed
– Knowing the fundamentals of the Wireshark® application and how to diagnose/troubleshoot packets on the network, with a focus on the TCP/IP protocol suite is vital to anyone who is in the networking field today, whether it be Service Provider level or Enterprise level. – Wednesday & Thursday February 2-3. 8:30 am – 5:00 pm each day

– Knowing the fundamentals of Wi-Fi/WiFi 6/Wireless LAN Operations is vital to anyone who is in the networking field today, whether it be Service Provider level or Enterprise level, especially considering the need to support wireless access technologies by Field Operations, Customer Service, and IT departments. This insightful and revealing course has been designed to focus on the operational aspects of implementing and maintaining a Wi-Fi/WLAN deployment, networking design, and performance measurement. This course will help you understand how Wi-Fi/WLAN networks operate. We will focus on 802.11 functions, and we will define terms and acronyms along the way. We will discuss what can go wrong in Wi-Fi/WLAN networks. In the end, the students will be able to better troubleshoot and communicate with peers and customers.

– Knowing the fundamentals of Wireless LAN Operations is vital to anyone who is in the customer support field today, whether it be Service Provider level or Enterprise level, especially considering the need to wireless access technologies. This insightful and revealing course has been designed to focus on the operational aspects of supporting a WLAN deployment, targeting the Customer Support personnel. The course is a combination of knowledge training, systems analysis, with hands-on demonstrations, using a variety of tools in a swift, comprehensive, and understandable way.
